During a skin expert led in-clinic Dermapen4 session, your skin’s condition is evaluated, and the ideal penetration depth is determined. 1. Charge your Dermapen HOME Battery
   Your Dermapen HOME product is powered by a single, rechargeable battery. Two rechargeable batteries have been provided in your kit. Charge the Battery. Place the Battery into the provided Charger. Plug the USB A cable end into a power source. Install the Battery. Insert the fully charged battery into your pen.
2. Register your Dermapen HOME Pen
   You will not be able to use your product if you do not complete this step. This also ensures warranty of the product. Download the Dermapen HOME app. Install the App on your device, follow the prompts on the App and create an account. Turn on your pen. Press and hold the Power Button for 3 seconds until you hear a ‘beep’. NOTE: your Pen will automatically turn off after 2 minutes of inactivity. Register and Sync your Pen. Select the + Register icon and follow the prompts to register and sync your new Pen.
3. Clean your pen
   Your Pen must be cleaned before each use to avoid contaminants causing infection. Clean your Pen wiping it down with disinfectant wipes.
   Do not submerge your Pen in liquid.
4. Attach a new, sterile needle
   Unwrap a sterile needle cartridge from the sealed wrapper, attach the needle to your pen by placing it in the end of the Pen. Twist clockwise, until you cannot twist anymore. Leave the Safety Cap on for now.
5. Prepare treatment region
   There are 6 regions on the face where you can perform a microneedling treatment. Forehead, Eye Area, Nose, Lip Area, Chin and Cheeks. Avoid treating directly on lips and close to the eye. Thoroughly cleanse your skin and hands with Dp Dermaceuticals Tri Phase Cleanser, CLR Foam Cleanser or Micro Derm Exfoliant. Follow with a spritz of Dp Dermaceuticals CliniPrep to be absolutely certain that clinical-standard cleanliness is achieved.
6. Adjust settings for treatment region
   Turn on your Pen to adjust your speed and depth settings. Change the depth setting of your needle according to the treatment region you have selected. The depth level ranges from 1-4. It is indicated by the number displayed on your screen.
   Treatment Regions
   Forehead – Depth Level 1-4
   Eye Area – Depth Level 1-4
   Nose – Depth Level 2
   Lip Area – Depth Level 1-4
   Chin/Cheek – Depth Level 4
   Cheek Bone – Depth Level 2-4
   Any Sort of Scar – Depth Level 4
   All speed settings are suitable for all treatment regions. Change the speed setting to suit your level of comfort. The speed level is indicated by ranges between levels 1-4. It is displayed as a ring on your Pen screen.
7. Perform Treatment
   You can use the same needle across multiple treatment regions for each treatment. Each region can be treated once a week, for up to 10 minutes.
8. Apply Serum or Cream
   Apply your Dp Dermaceuticals Meso-Glide to the treatment area, this is a serum or cream used to ensure Dermapen HOME glides smoothly across your skin, and deliver nutrients and actives deep into the skin. This could be Dp Dermaceuticals Hyla Active alone, or target specific concerns for example pigmentation by mixing Hyla Active with Brite Lite, or acne use Hyla Active with CLR Lotion or anti-ageing mixing Hyla Active with Antioxidant Cocktail at a 1:1 ratio.
9. Remove Safety Cap
   Remove the safety cap on the end of your needle. Dispose of your safety cap in general household waste.
10. Set your Pen to “active mode”
    Your Pen needs to be set to active mode to perform your micro-needling treatment. First, turn your Pen ON. Then, briefly press the power button again to activate the Pen. It will start to vibrate.
11. Apply active pen to treatment regions
    Applying constant, light pressure with your Pen, “draw” a series of straight, parallel lines across your treatment region(s), in the following 4 directions: vertical, horizontal, diagonal and other diagonal. Lift your pen at the end of each individual line, before drawing a new line, to avoid unnecessary reinsertions. Repeat the entire process above 3-5 times, per region.
12. Turn pen off
    Remove the Needle and dispose immediately into general household waste. Do not use this Needle again. Clean your Pen, remove battery and charge. Store your Pen and any unused Needles in a clean, dry location.
13. Upgrade your treatment
    If you wish with a Hyla Active 3D Sculptured Mask or Dp Dermaceuticals L.E.D Face Mask to calm and further nourish your skin.
14. Finish your treatment
    With Dp Dermaceuticals Vitamin Rich Repair (AM or PM) and/or Retinal Active (PM) and desired shade of Cover Recover SPF 30.
